There was the lecture about North Korea’s nuclear weapon issue here at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Nowadays no one hesitates to call North Korea as ‘the axis of evil’ and understands the policy of the North Korea’s government.
Mr. Cho Whan Bok, the Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Hong Kong and Macau explained about the policy of South Korea’s and why we need to help North Korea. He tried to find the answer beyond the Nuclear Challenge and the Coldwar.
My granddad is from North Korea and he had never met his families more than 40 years. No one can understand how he felt about the separation. As Mr. Cho mentioned, it might be hard for South Koreans to find the logical solution about the North Korean Issue. A lof of South Koreans still support the North Korean Football team when they meet China or Japan.
